Philadelphia, PA, February 20, 2012 —
A training program provided by recent Behavioral Health Counseling graduate, Zach Stone, was the subject of a recent front-page news story in the Philadelphia Inquirer.
Stone, a 2011 graduate of Drexel’s Behavioral Health Counseling Program, and Chief Operating Officer at Red Kite Project Consulting, has been working with SEPTA for over two years to implement a new employee training program. The trainings are equipping operators with the communication and de-escalation skills necessary to cope with the demands of their job.
Red Kite’s success within SEPTA has lead to additional trainings that are creating a greater organizational change. Zach attributes his ability to successfully facilitate social and managerial skills trainings to the preparation he received in the Behavioral Health Counseling program.
