Ambition Can't Wait: Jeffrey Stockbridge ‘05

What is ambition? It’s a journey. It’s learning about yourself and how your story can make a difference in the world. At Drexel, our stories don’t define us; our stories inspire change for social good around the world. We all want to be heard. At Drexel, you will be.

Proud to Be a Dragon

Drexel students are ambitious and engaged with their community. Learn some of the reasons why these students are Proud to Be a Dragon.

Enrichment In and Out of the Classroom

Chanel Miller (Health Sciences) chose Drexel to learn how to help people reach their best health potentials while enriching her education with diverse opportunities. Working with medical professionals in the classroom through patient contact hours on co-op and musical talents out of the classroom from the Philadelphia Orchestra, her Drexel experience has provided a wealth of experience and set her on track to be a Physician’s Assistant.

Unparalleled Work Experience

Alex Uboldi (Marketing) knew that a college degree wasn’t enough to prepare him for the media world. He chose Drexel because of the added work experience from our cooperative education program, applying skills from the classroom toward DJing his own radio show and reading research analytics for NBC on co-op. Alex’s Drexel experience has more than prepared him for a career with a major broadcasting network.

The Pathway to Google

Halima Olapade (Class of 2016 – College of Computing & Informatics) learned valuable skills during her cooperative education preparation course, Co-op 101, and applied them on a journey across the U.S. and to Germany. With experience at SAP abroad and Microsoft here in the U.S., she accepted a job offer from Google.

The Pathway to Faculty and Campus Connection

Jake Herschman (Graphic Design), from his first visit to campus and an immediate connection with design faculty members, knew that Drexel was the pathway that could help him reach his goals. Our University City Campus, specifically the URBN Center, serves as an inspirational canvas for Jake’s imagination and enables him to bring creativity back into his work.

Dancer Turned Businessman

Max Baud (Business Administration, Drexel Online) for this professional dancer, director and entrepreneur, and for many other students, a Drexel degree provides a path for the future.

Freshman Year Research Opportunities

Because of his STAR Scholars research mentors, Tauheed is able to focus on wearable technology and incorporating energy into smart textiles during hands-on experience from our cooperative education program.

Test-Driving Careers Around the World

Shane Nelson (Class of 2017 – College of Arts and Sciences) made the most of his education during co-op through civic engagement here on campus, and abroad in Hong Kong and London.
