For some, it's a chance to share their Drexel experience with a prospective student. For others, it's an opportunity to help shape the future of the Alumni Association. Whatever the individual reasons, each year hundreds of alumni and students volunteer for dozens of Alumni Association programs, committees and boards.

When you volunteer your time and talents to the Alumni Association, you become part of a very special group. Nothing speaks more highly for a university than successful alumni who enthusiastically serve and support it. Whether you help recruit students, speak at a career workshop, lead an alumni club or serve on the Board of Governors, you'll walk away with a sense of accomplishment and pride, knowing that you truly make a difference in the lives of Drexel alumni and students.

There are countless ways to be active in Drexel’s Alumni Association. In the podcast below, Julia Levy '93 shares why she decided to volunteer her expertise to the Alumni Career Services program as alumni speaker at an event, as well as the author of a monthly column, Career Zone:

As an alumni volunteer, you can give of yourself however and whenever you choose. Many programs and commitment levels are available. So chose the opportunity that's right for you and become part of this exciting group today!

One of the best ways you can support Drexel is to share your experiences and answer questions about the university from prospective students. Who better to relate than you, someone who has already experienced it first hand?

As the Alumni Association's governing body, the Board of Governors is comprised of alumni whose demonstrated service and leadership display a strong understanding and commitment to the mission of the Alumni Association and the advancement of Drexel University.

The Community Alumni Network at Drexel University (CAN DU), an outreach program of the Alumni Association, supports alumni, students, faculty, and staff in making a difference in our community. This group embraces civic engagement, social responsibility, giving back, volunteerism, and leadership development.

Student Programs
Build relationships with current students to help ensure a strong, active alumni constituency for the future. Alumni assist with programs that enhance the student experience while, at the same time, raise their awareness of the Alumni Association.
