In an Alumni Career Services event on January 25, 2011, Dr. Sherrie Madia, Associate Adjunct Professor at the Goodwin College of Professional Studies and author of the Online Job Search Survival Guide presented to Philadelphia area alumni on best practices for using social networking effectively in job search. On November 10, the Drexel University Alumni Association, iSchool Alumni Association and the LeBow College of Business Alumni Association co-sponsored an Alumni Career Services program titled “An Insider’s Look at Careers in the Digital Professions.” Alumni panelists provided insight into diverse fields, such as digital media, information security, IT consulting, and enterprise architecture, and shared advice for managing careers in these industries. In an Alumni Career Services event on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, in New York City, alumni experts in the financial services industry participated in a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Michael Gombola, Drexel University Professor of Finance. Guests first enjoyed an hour of networking as they got to know the panelists, Bonnie Richards '92, Vince Roth '99, '02, and John Wambold '83. The panel discussion consisted of several questions fielded by Dr. Gombola, as well as questions from the audience of local alumni. More
