Unique Features
Just as Drexel broke new technological ground when it became the first university in the nation to require every student to have access to a personal computer, Goodwin College's cutting-edge computer labs and use of wireless technology have also gained national attention.
- After successful completion of CT 230, CT 240, and CT 385, Communications and Applied Technology students are prepared to sit for the Certified Webmaster (CIW) exam. This certificate, along with a top-notch Drexel education, gives students a unique advantage in the workplace.
- The CAT degree is offered in a variety of formats, including a fully online program through Drexel Online.
Working students will appreciate the degree-completion format of this program which allows for greater flexibility of transfer credits. To maximize prior coursework and previous learning, students will be given a personal evaluation of credits they have earned at other institutions as well as other certifications they may have received. Credit for prior learning can be earned through:
- Transfer agreements with other colleges and universities
- The College Level Examination Program (CLEP)
- Portfolio assessments
Many courses within the CAT program are also offered in the evenings, for added convenience.
