Drexel University offers the 16-hour National Restaurant Association ServSafe program, recognized locally and nationally by the food safety training industry. Upon completion of this course, you will be certified in Food Sanitation and Safety.
Appropriate training is the best vehicle for all food service personnel—especially managers, supervisors, and owners—to learn about the hazards associated with day-to-day operations and the food preparation process. It is imperative for management to incorporate good sanitation practices into their operation by supporting employee training and education. Participation in this course demonstrates commitment to food safety and quality customer service.

Certification course information:
- 16-hour program (two 8-hour days)
- $195 (includes textbook)
- Exam is given
at the end of the second day of class.
- Students must score a 75% or better on the exam to receive certification.
