Faculty Highlights
The AET program is supported by full-time and adjunct faculty members offering extensive academic and practical experience in several disciplines.
- Richard Chiou, Ph.D., an associate professor at Goodwin, emphasizes creativity and hands-on learning in his courses and has secured many research and education grants from the National Science Foundation, the Society of Manufacturing Engineers Education Foundation, and the industry.
- Before coming to Goodwin, Associate Professor Vladimir Genis, Ph.D., worked on numerous projects related to detection and classification of underwater objects and was employed by the School of Biomedical Engineering of Drexel University in 1989.
- Yongjin Kwon, Ph.D., has more than 12 years of engineering experience in industrial and academic settings. Before joining Drexel, he was a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical/Industrial Engineering at the University of Iowa, where he worked closely with industry for various research projects.
