Profile: Dr. Jo Ann Cohen is a licensed psychologist and the director of the Lihn Center for Psychology.  She has been treating individuals for learning problems, attention problems, and psychological disorders for more than 20 years.  She received her license to practice psychology in Pennsylvania in 1992.  She is a graduate of the Union Institute and University.  She is a diplomat in the American Board for Forensic Neuropsychology, American Board of Forensic Medicine, and a Fellow the American College of Forensic Examiners.  Dr. Cohen has been an Adjunct Professor at Philadelphia University, Temple University, and Cabrini College where she taught a number of courses to graduate and undergraduate students.  The topics of these courses include cognition, behavioral psychology, the exceptional child, abnormal psychology, statistics and psychological testing, and developmental psychology.  She has given a number of workshops at area colleges and universities on the diagnosis and remediation of learning disabilities and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Dr. Cohen presented at the International Boys' School Coalition in Washington D.C., in 2005 and will be presenting again in Boston in 2007.
