Vu Anh Le, '90, loved to play tennis and was a dedicated worker who put everyone in his family before himself. After losing him to a brain tumor at age 39 in 2006, his brother, Quan Le; his sister (and my wife) Khue Feigenberg '91; and I, a close friend of Vu's at Drexel, searched for ways to memorialize him. After initiating a scholarship in his name, Goldman Sachs, his early employer, offered to match the contribution, and the Vu Anh Le '90 Memorial Scholarship Fund will support undergraduate students in the form of $5,000 per year for five years, to undergraduate students on the University tennis team, based on financial need and academic merit. Vu had very fond memories playing tennis for the University. Now his memory will live on in the classrooms and on the courts at Drexel. |
