Web Search Services

The Drexel web is a big place, but we have the tools to help people find the information that they're looking for.  Drexel's web search system scans and indexes over half a million pages — using the same technology as Google —more frequently than Google itself does.  The power of this Google Search Applicance can be applied directly to departmental websites that use Sitecore, Drexel's web content management system.

The main page for web searching at Drexel is search.drexel.edu/. This site indexes content from all departmental sites on www.drexel.edu and several other servers on campus.  However, not all web content at Drexel is indexed.

If you run a web server at Drexel and want Search.Drexel.edu to index your site, let us know.  Personal websites are not eligible for search service and, due to Google licensing costs, there may be an indexing charge for departmental sites.
