- Outline the initial approach to work up and stabilization of a patient with fever, seizures and encephalopathy.
- Discuss the differential diagnosis for a patient presenting with seizures and encephalopathy.
- Describe the clinical progression in our patient that ultimately led to a final diagnosis.
- Review the epidemiology, pathophysiology, and management of a rare infectious encephalopathic diagnosis.
